Abstract:
The present study considers poems related to theology in the field of religious education for children. The main goal of this study is to analyze and compare children's poems published in the last three decades (from 1991 to 2021) with a focus on recovering the correct methods of religious education on the subject of theology in children's poems. This study was conducted using a descriptive-analytical method. The results show the poets have often paid attention to their personal experiences on the subject of theology and have been less interested in reviving new methods in religious education. Even though poetry is known as a suitable format for teaching important topics such as theology, some poets have been oblivious to the diversity of methods and have been more content with their inner feelings. At the same time, some other poets have shared their experiences more carefully and created more thoughtful works. It is suggested this poets review their works and compare them with scientific methods of religious education and find more effective ways to teach theology and create joy in children. Therefore, it is necessary to reconsider and collaborate with religious education experts in this field.
